Verlynn Winnicki

With over 20 years of dedicated service to Westgate Assisted Living, Verlynn Winnicki is a cornerstone of the community. Her journey in senior care began in the 1970s in skilled nursing, and after graduating from LPN school in 2009, she advanced through roles as Assistant Director of Nursing and Health and Wellness Director. For the past three years, Verlynn has proudly served as Executive Director, leading a team of longstanding nurses and medical aides who share her deep commitment to exceptional care.

Verlynn considers Westgate more than just a workplace—it's family. “I love the elderly, and my heart is with them,” she says, a sentiment reflected in her relationships with residents and team members. She describes Westgate as a “well-oiled community” blessed with stability and warmth.

Married and the proud mother of two sons, Verlynn plans to retire at Westgate, continuing to make a lasting impact on the lives of residents she holds so dear.
