Verlynn Winnicki is the Executive Director of Westgate Assisted Living in Omaha, NE, where she leads the community with a deep commitment to compassionate care, clinical excellence, and creating a welcoming environment that residents are proud to call home. With more than 20 years of dedicated service at Westgate, Verlynn has become a trusted leader whose experience and relationships have helped shape the community's culture of stability, consistency, and exceptional resident care.

Verlynn's career in senior healthcare began in the 1970s in skilled nursing, where she discovered a lifelong passion for serving older adults. After earning her Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) credential in 2009, she continued to grow professionally, serving as Assistant Director of Nursing and Health & Wellness Director before becoming Executive Director. Her clinical background and decades of hands-on experience give her a unique understanding of both the healthcare and operational needs of an assisted living community.

As Executive Director, Verlynn leads a dedicated team of experienced nurses, caregivers, and associates who share her commitment to providing personalized care while fostering meaningful relationships with residents and their families.
