Christie Underwood

Christie Underwood serves as Assisted Living Compliance & Survey Readiness Specialist for Omega Senior Living, bringing extensive senior living leadership and operational experience to the organization’s leadership team. Having served in Administrator, Executive Director, Resident Director, and Director of Social Services roles, Christie understands the responsibilities community leaders face in maintaining regulatory compliance while providing a safe, supportive environment for residents.

Christie began her career in senior living operations more than a decade ago, obtaining her Operator’s License in 2009 and Administrator’s License in 2012. Her experience leading senior living communities has given her firsthand knowledge of regulatory requirements, community operations, resident services, team leadership, and the state survey process.

In her role with Omega Senior Living, Christie works alongside community leadership to strengthen assisted living compliance and maintain ongoing survey readiness. She helps communities evaluate practices and documentation, identify potential areas of concern, prepare for regulatory surveys, and establish processes that support consistent compliance. Her practical understanding of community operations allows her to approach compliance not simply as preparation for an inspection, but as part of the everyday systems that support quality senior living.

Throughout her career, Christie has been known for her hands-on leadership and willingness to work alongside community teams. She brings that same collaborative approach to her work at Omega, helping leaders understand regulatory expectations and build confidence in the processes that support their residents, associates, and communities.

Christie attended Wichita State University and continues to draw on her years of senior living leadership experience to help Omega Senior Living communities pursue operational excellence and remain prepared for the evolving regulatory environment.
