Kim DeWerff

Kim DeWerff is the Systems Administrator for Omega Senior Living, where he helps maintain the technology infrastructure that supports the home office and communities across the organization. As a key member of Omega's Information Technology team, Kim works closely with leadership and community associates to ensure the technology they rely on every day remains secure, reliable, and efficient.

Kim brings more than 25 years of experience in information technology, systems administration, and operational leadership. His IT career began while serving in the United States Marine Corps as an IT Manager and Systems Engineer, establishing a strong technical foundation that has continued throughout leadership roles in systems engineering, information security, network administration, and executive technology management. His experience includes serving as Chief Information Officer and Information Technology Director, where he led technology strategy, system implementations, cybersecurity initiatives, and organizational process improvements.

Before joining Omega Senior Living in 2021, Kim also served in operational leadership roles at Union Rescue Mission of Wichita, where he combined technology, leadership, and service to help strengthen programs supporting individuals experiencing homelessness. That experience reinforced his belief that technology should always serve people first.

At Omega Senior Living, Kim oversees the administration and security of the organization's technology systems, including network infrastructure, servers, cybersecurity, email systems, telecommunications, data privacy, cloud services, and user support. He works continuously to improve system performance, strengthen security, and implement technology solutions that help associates across the organization work more effectively.

Known for his analytical mindset and commitment to service, Kim believes technology should remove barriers rather than create them. His focus on dependable systems, responsive support, and continuous improvement helps provide the technology foundation that enables Omega Senior Living's communities to remain connected, productive, and focused on delivering exceptional care to residents.
